Teaching contents:1.谈论他人和自己的能力。

                  2.复习“can”和“can't”的用法。

Teaching aims:

Knowledge aims:

              1.熟练的拼读单词“useful”,“ blind” “see ”“deaf”“ hear ”“fireman."

                2.掌握并运用句子I/She/They can....和I/He/She/They can't...来谈论他人和自己的  

                 能力。

Ability aims:

             提高学生理解能力,口头表达能力和运用英语的能力。

Emotion aims:

             加强和提高学生爱护动物的意识,培养学生之间互相关心,互相帮助的情感。

Teaching aids:

              tape,radio ,pictures.

Teaching steps:

Step 1:Warming-up

       Sing a song,<<A good friends>>.

      【设计理念:用英语唱歌为学生创造一定的英语氛围,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。】

Step 2:Review

       Everyone.Are you all ready? Ok,Let's begin our class.At first,look here.At first,look here.(出示大屏幕)

       有用的         盲的,看不见的           看见        

       消防员         聋的                     听见

       Let's students say about it. And read it together about three times.

       【设计理念:及时复习单词,为后面的英语课文学习做好铺垫。】

Step 3.Leading

       Now,look at these pictures again.(出示大屏幕)

       T:What's this?

       S:Dogs!

       T:Do you like dogs?

       S:No/Yes.

       T:I like dogs too.Dogs are very useful!(板书课题)

       Today,we're going to talk about special dogs.

      【设计理念:从学生们喜欢的宠物图到老师的爱好,引出本课的课题。激发学生的好奇心。】

Step 3 Presentation.

      1.Look here.(出示大屏幕)

      This man is     ,He    .板书:The blind man can't see.

      T:When he across the road,who helps him?

      S:Dogs.(出示大屏幕)

      T:Yes,this dog helps him.

      (Read after the teacher about it three times and give groups do practice.)

      T:The dog helps the blind man across the road.How can we call this dog?

      S:We call the dog is “导盲犬”。

      2.Look at the next picture.(出示大屏幕)

      This girl is     .She     .板书:The deaf girl can't hear.

      (Read after the teacher about it three times and read together. )

      T:Listen,there is a girl is knocking the door.Who helps her open the door?

      S:Dog.

      T:Yes.This dog helps her.(出示大屏幕)

      (Read after the teacher about it three times and give groups read it.)

      S:“助听犬”

      3.Boys and girls.Looj here.(出示大屏幕)

      T:Who are they?

      S:They're firemen.

      T:These firemen can't find people,who helps them?板书:The firemen can't find people.

      S:Dogs.

      T:Yeath.These dogs help them.

      (Read after the teacher about it three times and give groups do practice.)

       T:So how can we call this dog?

       S:“消防犬”

       【设计理念:用多媒体展示每一副图,让学生更进一步理解课文,让英语学习进入一定的情境,让英语学习与实际应用联系的更贴切。】

Step 3.Listen and read.

     Now,look at your book.Turn to page 26.Amy,Lingling and Ms Smart is watching programme about dogs.Dogs are very useful.Why?Yes.Because the blind man can't see,the deaf girl can't hear,and the fireman can't find people.板书:These dogs help them.

    1.Listen to the tape once.

    2.Listen and repeat about passage 1and 2.

    3.Do practice.

    T:Next,let's look at another picture and let's talk about another dog.(出示大屏幕)Do you like hot dogs?

    S:Yes.

    T:I like it too.Because it's very nice.Hot dogs are they dogs?

    S:No.They're sausages.

    【设计理念:让学生进一步理解课文,为后面的练习做准备。】

Step4.Practice.

     Do exercises.

     1.Look and read.Tick“ T” or “F”.

     a.Lingling likes dogs.         )

     b.Dogs are very useful.        )

     c.The blind man can't hear.    )

     d.The deaf girl can't see.     )

     e.Hot dogs are dogs.            )

     2.用can 和can't谈论自己的能力,并用上一下短语。

       play football     play basketball    high jump

       sing              dance              run fast

       I can        I can     

     【设计理念:练习设计的都是本课的重点,学生通过练习可以提高英语的实际运用能力。】

Step5.Home work.

     Use can and can't write sentences.

     【设计理念:让学生进一步掌握本课的句型,为提高学生的口语表达能力而坐铺垫。】

     Blackboard design:

                              Dogs are very useful.

                   The blind man can't see.

                   The deaf girl can't hear.       The dogs help them.
