20110326期的《非诚勿扰》，一个名叫安田的男嘉宾给观众留下了深刻的记忆。

安田，生于美国，长在香港，他本科就读于哈佛大学、硕士就读于牛津大学、现在正在攻读加州大学伯克利分校的博士，全部是世界顶级名校。这个美国思维的ABC（America Born Chinese），以他的灿烂的笑容和真诚的谈吐征服了场内场外的观众。安田在场上所表现出来的责任，博爱，让人震撼。真的非常佩服他!被他的价值观，以及他在最关键的时刻能坚持自己的原则的精神所征服，尤其是最后他离开时的那段话，让人感慨不已。回报社会，服务人群，这样的境界和认识，现在又有多少人会时刻想到这个呢？

安田的的那句“为人民服务”在网络上引起热议。他在现场提到的“哈佛校训”也成为网友热搜的关键词。

事实上哈佛大学图书馆墙上的二十条训言并没有安田说的那句。

    安田在现场说的版本是：    Enter to grow in knowledge, depart to better serve the country and the kind. 入学是为了更好地增长知识，毕业是为了更好地回报祖国和人民。 这就是哈佛版的“为人民服务”。

    但是，安田当时口误了，准确的版本应该是：

           Enter to grow in wisdom. Depart to serve better thy country and thy kind. 

         既然这个正确的版本不在哈佛大学图书馆墙上铭刻着，那么它刻在哈佛校园里的哪个位置呢？

         原来, 在哈佛大学里，有一扇为纪念此校1890年毕业生Samuel Dexter而建的门，内外门楣上的铭文100年来为哈佛学子所遵从：门外刻着“Enter to Grow in Wisdom”（见上图），门内则刻有 “Depart to Serve Better Thy Country and Thy Kind”。（见下图）
