到了酒店，大家急忙check in, 然后一致要求先去球场。我们住在 The Islands at Mauna lani,别墅式的酒店，大家共享一栋。高尔夫球道在房后经过，搞得大家心痒痒的。

驱车5分钟，到了球场，一登记，才知道白天球费是200美金，下午2点后是150美金。由于我们住在那儿，打折后是170美金。大家不管三七二十一，抄起家伙，就下场了。球场的名字叫Mauna Lani Resort，共有两个球场，南球场和北球场，完全是建立在火山岩石上。黑黑的岩石上铺着绿绿的草坪，OB桩外就是火山岩，湖泊和大海，是面对着太平洋。太叹为观止又令人膛目结舌，真的是难以置信。

由于北场简单一些，大家决定先打北场。6818码还不算长，难度还好，但是果岭极快，速度大概有10-11左右，打了83杆。成绩一般，但是打了3个小鸟。只有4个洞用了一号木，其余大部分都是用小木杆和铁杆，球道太窄，要求的落点很准。

球场的介绍是这样的：

打完球，在球场的餐厅吃饭时，我们才了解到这个球场在夏威夷是极有名气的。美国高尔夫杂志评为金奖，1990-2000年 10年的 PGA Senior tournament 球场。号称没打过Mauna Lani Resort ，就是在夏威夷没打过球。（If you haven't played at Mauna Lani Resort, you haven't played in Hawaii.)
