念奴娇·赤壁怀古

大江东去，浪淘尽，千古风流人物。
故垒西边，人道是，三国周郎赤壁。
乱石穿空，惊涛拍岸，卷起千堆雪。
江山如画，一时多少豪杰。
遥想公瑾当年，小乔初嫁了，雄姿英发。
扇纶巾，谈笑间，樯橹灰飞烟灭。
故国神游，多情应笑我，早生华发。
人生如梦，一尊还酹江月。
译者注：周郎和公瑾均指周瑜，小乔指周瑜妻子。三国时期于扬子江赤壁发生过一场大战，最后以周瑜所在吴国联合蜀国战胜了曹操率领的魏国人数众多的军队，其中火烧魏军战船是经典战例。扇子，指代蜀国丞相诸葛亮。此诗为作者流放其间创作。

The river flows
eastward, the waves wash away:
those romantic
people and things through the ages.
In the west of
the ancient fortress, people say it
is:
Zhou
Hero-ChibiThree-Kingdoms.
The rocks
pierced through the sky,
and the amazing
waves hit the shore,
rolling up the
snow a thousand piles.
Yangtze
River-mountains are picturesque,
that period how
many heroes.
Far away imagine
that Zhouyu back then,
Xiao Qiao
married for the first time,
with beautiful
hair and heroic appearance.
Feather fan and
silk scarf,
between talking
and laughing,
and the
mast-scull became smoke and ashes.
The spiritual
journey of the homeland,
and the
emotional richness should laugh at
me,
and gray hair
early to give the birth.
Life is like a
dream,
and a bowl of
wine is still spilled on the river's moons.
Translator's
Note: Zhou Lang and Gong Jin both refer to Zhou Yu, and Xiao Qiao
refers to Zhou Yu's wife. During the Three Kingdoms period, a great
battle took place in Chibi on the Yangtze River. In the end, Zhou
Yu's state of Wu and Shu defeated the large army of Wei led by Cao
Cao. The burning of the warship of the Wei army is a classic
example of war. Fan refers to Zhuge Liang, the prime minister of
Shu. This poem was created by the author during his
exile.
