罗伯特·路易斯·史蒂文森介绍

罗伯特·路易斯·史蒂文森于1850年出生在苏格兰爱丁堡的罗伯特·路易斯·史蒂文森是一个工程师家庭的后代，他选择了律师作为他的专业，然而他却进入爱丁堡大学深造。

在他青年时就开始了写作，到他二十岁初的时侯已经是一位探险小说家了。然而，他的旅程带给他更多的是对遥远地区的好奇心，而不是健康。史蒂文森被疾病困扰着，特别是他那十分虚弱的肺，所以他一直以来都在寻找能够改善他健康状况的气候条件。

在他的一生中，史蒂文森（Stevenson）写了许多的经典名著，比如写于1883年的金银岛（Treasure Island），写于1886年的《绑架》（kidnapped），写于1888年的《黑箭》（The Black Arrow） 和写于1889年的《巴伦特雷少爷》（Master of Ballantrae）。 被严重的肺结核病困扰着，他没有找到能够使他的肺能够呼吸到新鲜空气的地方。最终，他在1894年病故于萨摩亚群岛，享年四十四岁。

Robet Louis Stevenson

Born in Edinburgh ，Soctland，in 1850  ，Robert Louis Stevenson  came  from  a  family   of  engineers.He chose law as a profession, however ,and entered the University of Edinburgh.

Beginning in his teens,he began to write,and dy the time he was in his early twenties,he was an accomplished writer of travel literat ure.His journeys, however ,were brought about more by a quest for good health than by curiosity of faraway places. Stevenson was troubled by ill health, especially by weak lungs,and he searched for a climate that would improve  his  condition.

 During his lifetime,Stevenson wrote a number of books that have become classis such as Treasure Island (written in 1883),Kidnapped(1886),The Black Arrow(1888),and The Master of Ballantrae(1889). Afflicted with a sever case of tuberculosis,he failed to find a place where his lungs could get the fresh air he needed.He died ,in Samoa,in 1894,at age of forty-four.
