1. Are there many advertisements in your country?

What do you think is the purpose of advertisements (or, advertising)?

Well， I think the intense competition in the market is a main reason for that, you know, these days. If a producer likes to be competitive in the market, they have to make their products known first, and advertising is the best way to do so.

3.      How do you feel about advertisements? 

To be honest, most of time, I hate advertisement because it seems to me that advertisement is everywhere and we just simply can’t avoid them. For example, when I watch a talk show program on TV, and every 5 minutes there will be an advertisement, it is very annoying.

4.      What kind of advertisement do you like the most? 

Well, I think it is the Public Interest Advertisement, for example advertisements about environment protection, energy saving. These advertisements are noncommercial but very educational.

5. Do advertisements (ever) influence your choice about what to buy? 

Yes, advertisements do influence me a lot although I don’t like it. It influences me when I make decisions on what to eat, what to drink and what to use. For example, before I make a choice, I usually tend to choose the brand which I have heard of or I am familiar with. So, it affects me whenever I spend money.

6. Where can we see (or, what are the various places where we can) advertisements? 

Well, as we all have noticed, advertising has pervaded our life, so they can been seen at different spots, for example at airport, train stations, bus stops, the entrance of supermarket, and even on the wall of stadium when a sport event is on.
