黎历点评：

　　《切莫将心尽献》与其说是诗人对所有人的规劝，不如说是对自己倾其

一生心血，单恋无回报的哀叹。诗人认为爱情犹如一切美好的东西，短暂如

梦幻，在耳鬓厮磨中匆匆溜走。暗示过分爱的奉献，并非得到同等的回报，

而只会对爱情产生负作用，而加快爱情的失去。诗人暗示女人视爱情为游戏，

愚昧短浅，对爱情无深刻理解，取笑男人的痴情，劝告男人们不要用情太深，

切莫将心尽献。

　　叶芝对茅德冈终身痴情的爱恋，激发了诗人创作不少爱情诗，歌颂爱情的

美好，专注与恒长。但对茅德冈单恋的毫无回报，也让诗人产生对爱情的怀疑

和怨恨的心态，以致折射进一些爱情诗里，如《哦，莫爱得太久长》和《切莫

将心尽献》，反映叶芝爱情诗具复杂的双重性，阅读时需要鉴赏和理解。
