Printed Book's side:
This passage has a good point and fluent language with a little bit lack of logic. Anyway, it is worth resiting since it is not very long.
I have seen many developments
that were supposed to make the book extinct-and it hasn't happened
yet. First, the most ridiculous, claim came in 1960s when

Now we have the e-book. No doubt this latest device will find its own market, but I don't believe that there'll be a great demand for it. We may live in an increasingly technical world, but enjoying a book is about relaxing, getting away from technology. There is something very satisfying about holding a book in your hands. In fact, studies have shown that when you read on a screen, your eyes and brain will be constantly trying to see where you are on a page and how far you are from the end. When you read from paper, on the other hand, the hands will help to provide that information. Why else do we often print out things we find on the Web?

I hear claims about its evironmental benefits, but I wonder if any one has studied the environmental damage of an e-book in its entire life. And the idea that we can't sustainably grow enough wood to support our wonderful book habit is nonsense.

So, I can look at the e-book and then say, "Wow, it's clever!" But I don't believe that it is the future. I am absolutely certain that, a hundred years from now, the book will be as satisfying an experience as it has been since 1400s, when Johannes Gutenberg invented the printing press, making books available to the masses.

E-book's side:
Viewpoint 1:
E-books have a great potential to add to the book experience with video and audio material.
Viewpoint 2:
E-books could revolutionize the spread of knowledge by taking the equivalent of a world library to communities that perhaps had only a handful of paperbacks before.
Viewpoint 3:
E-books have the added benefits of being much more environment-friendly and writer-friendly.
