5 years has
passed since my first touch of golf. Here in
Sweden, golf is like common people's sport, but many swedish
players are of very high level. There are many
golf courts around Stockholm, and it is quite cheap to play golf
here. The summer period is very nice for golf, but it is too short,
and one can't play golf in winter
time, therefore many swedish golfer travel to
other countries for golf holiday.
On golf courts
here in Stockholm I hardly see chinese people.
Recently I have viewed quite many golf blogs at
SINA, and found golf become popular in China and
many chinese people enjoy the golf. That is great! I'm impressed
that many people have really good score (below 90,
80 or around 70). After 5 summers, my offical handcap is 17.8,
and I am still trying to break 100. In summer
2008, for the first time I played golf in China (Beijing) and had
101. Last week when I had holiday in Thailand (Phuket), I played 4
rounds in Thailand, the lowest score was also 101. So my wish for
2009 is to break 100. I hope I will have chance to play golf in
Beijing in 2009. I will be happy to meet some new
golf friends in China.
