Derwent的基本专利是指第一篇进入Derwent数据库的专利，由于不同国家专利数据更新周期的不同，Derwent的基本专利不一定是专利族的真正首件专利，不知我的理解对否，请指正。

另外，Derwent所说的基本专利是PN那一栏所列专利号中的第一个吗？

我的回答如下：

    Derwent把基于同一优先权的同族专利按照Derwent的同族规则集合到一起，形成一件Basic Patent，Derwent的同族规则和欧洲专利局INPODOC同族规则有所区别，但都为大众所认可。我的认识一件基本专利应该是相同技术方案下同族专利的集合，也就是一个专利族。Derwent在同族专利技术方案增加内容较多的情况下，还会增加一段等同摘要（Equivalent Abstracts）以说明同族中增加的技术方案。

大家知道使用Derwent最大的价值是对发明内容的人工改写，下面就是一件典型的DWPI文摘。
