A certain farmer had a cow
that was very much loved by his family and neighbours.
He also had a pig that
wasn't as popular.
One day the pig said to the cow,
" How come everybody likes
you so much? People say you are so
generous
because you give milk,
butter and cream everyday. Heck! I give more than
that.
I give bacon and ham. And
you can even pickle my feet!
Yet I am not as popular as
you are. Why?"
Said the cow , " Maybe it's
because I give while I'm still alive."
What we give after we're dead means little.
What we give after we're dead means little.
What
really counts is what we give of
ourselves, how much we love, while we are still alive.
