瘦西湖位于扬州市城西北，历史悠久，六朝以来即为风景胜地，清乾隆时期盛极一时。

在十里长的湖区两岸，营造了“两堤花柳全依水，一路楼台直到山”的湖区胜境。

Slender West Lake is situated in the north-western part of the city Yangzhou. It has been a scenic spot since the Six Dynasties and was in its full flourish in Emperor Qianlong Period.

Along the 5 km bank around the lake, there is the view of flower and willow inverted in water,pavilion and rendezvous along the route till the hill.

“青山隐隐水迢迢，秋尽江南草未凋；二十四桥明月夜，玉人何处教吹萧”。

Bridge No.24

an ancient poet Dumu of the Tang Dynasty ever wrote a poem depicting the view of bridge No.24 in late autumn with a beauty blowing a vertical bamboo flute under the moonlight.
