位于高巷口的国民党要塞司令部旧址，集中西建筑艺术风格为一体，

精美的石雕、砖雕、木雕、灰雕体现了深邃的文化内涵。

Former Guomintang Command Headquarters located in Lane Gaoxiang in Jiangyin,

was built with a combined Chinese and Western architecture style.

The exquisite engravings and carvings on the stone,

brick and wood is a reflection of the rich culture behind.    

 

由江阴市近代实业家吴汀鹭先生建于1923年，

占地面积3820平方米，建筑面积2008平方米。

1937年后为侵华日军驻城部队司令部。

1947年为国民党江阴要塞司令部。

现为“江阴名人馆”。

It was built in 1923 by the industrialist Wu Ting Lu,

with a floor area of 3820 square metres

and a building area of 2008 square metres.

It was the invading Japanese Command Headquarters in 1937

and became the Command Headquarters of Guomintang in 1947.

Now it is the Museum of Notables in Jiangyin.
