Ilike a park named People’s Park located in my hometown, which was built in the1960s when my grandparents got married. It was built because our then municipalgovernment wanted people to have a place to rest and exercise. When it getswarmer, green trees make shade with birds singing in it. Flowers blossom indifferent colors. The winding river with sparkling ripples in the park givesaway a sense of relaxation. Many people choose to take a rest here in theweekends. Sometimes they lie on the grass, taking a nap or meditating.Sometimes they sit on the river bank, listening to the music or chatting withtheir friends or families. Small kids chase each other, laughing and screaming.Young lovers stroll hand in hand, whispering the sweet words. But the liveliestscene in the park is not in weekends, but in the nights of weekdays. Everynight when people finish their work, most of them will come to the park toexercise. Brisk walking, jogging and dancing are their favorite. Every time Icome back from my college, I will go for a walk in the park because I reallylike the atmosphere there, peaceful and serene. This is my favorite park, notvery big, but warm enough.
