I was born in a city, located in the northern part of China, changes in different season are very distinctive. Among four seasons, winter is without a doubt my favorite season. It is a season associated with coldness and lifeless. Quite a few don’t like it, because the chilly wind makes passers-by shiver all over. However, as the raw wind was blowing, the first snow was whitening the hilltops. Trees and the ground are covered in fresh white snow. The whole world in your eyes is pure. I remembered that it was the happinest time in my childhood. My playmates and I would make a snowman with decorations and have snowball fights, although our hands were red with cold. We went skating on a small river near my home. Now the city I lived seldom has snows in winter. But I will take any chance to skate when I come back to my hometown.
