今天晚上，和小群里的同学们一起讨论背单词的方法。我们采用的是根据线索来背单词。

大家找到了两个很有代表性的题目，每到题目中给出了几个句子，把关键词空出来，大家根据这几个句子的大致含义，去推测用什么单词、什么时态。

题目一：这三道题填写的都是一个单词。

 1.They （） the work to ten persons.
2.She （） a sum of money to the poor children.
3.The mayor （） $100,000 for the new hospital.

题目二

   Day （） with night 
   Heavy rains （） with bursts of sunshine.
   Hope and fear （） in her breast.
   He （） between work and sleep.
   He （）jobs.
   She （） kindness with severity.

题目一allocate，题目二alternate 注意时态

 locate  vt. 分配，配给，拨给

【例】They allocated the work to ten persons.

【例】She allocated a sum of money to the poor children.

【例】 The mayor allocated $100,000 for the new hospital.
