     高中英语公开课教案一则

Teaching Scheme for Senior Grade 1 Book I Lesson 66

暑假放假,终于有机会翻阅整理以前的一些材料,突然翻到了20034月为全市高中英语教师开设的一节公开课的教案,记得当时上的是人民教育出版社的高一英语教材Lesson 66,现在看看,显得有些稚嫩,不过,这毕竟是我成长的经历,特别是我对“三皮英语教学法”初步探索的真实显照,也似有可圈可点之处,于是就大胆在自己的博客上原封不动展现出来,不足之处,恳请大家批评指正。

Knowledge-based goal: 

1. Learning and mastering the words and expressions of four skills:

at present, nature, common, recently, alive, year by year, greatly, one day

2.Being familiar with the make-up of the passive voice of the present continuous tense.

Capability goal:

Improving Ss’ reading skills(scanning and skimming).

Affection goal:

Enabling Ss to understand the significance of wildlife protection and strengthen their sense of protecting the wildlife by learning the text.

Teaching aids: A Bb, a tape recorder and multi-medium facility.

Teaching methods:

1.Using question-and–answer activity to help Ss grasp the main idea of the text and improve their speaking ability.

2.Listening to the tape to improve their ability of listening.

3.Doing different kinds of exs( i.e.exercises ) to help Ss improve their writing skills.

4.Fully embodying students’ Sanpi spirits in class.

Teaching Procedure

Step 1. Greetings & Revision

Revise Part 1 of L65 by watching slides .

Ask Qs (i.e.questions): What are they going to do ?

Why are they making this journey ?

What’s the project ?

How are they going to collect the money ?

Where are they going ?

Step 2. Preparation for Reading

Show pictures of a lion, a tiger, a bear, a camel, a panda and an elephant.

What’s the English for the animal ?

Then show a picture of a deer.

Is it the milu deer ?       

Who knows its name?…

Today we’re going to read about some milu deer. Before we begin to read, who can tell me sth. about it ?

Where do they live ?

What do they like to eat ?  

Have you seen any deer ?...

Step 3. Reading and Oral practice

Scanning.  Qs: How many centers are there at present for milu deer in China?

             What do people plan to do with the milu deer in future ?

Skimming.  Skim the first three paras (i.e.paragraphs):

Qs: Did the milu deer commonly live in China ?  

       How did it disappear ?

Are there any milu deer in China now ?

Is the natural park for milu deer in China or England ?

How do the milu deer come back to live in China ?

Skim the last three paras:

Qs: Where is the biggest nature park for milu deer in China ?

           What is done there about milu deer ?

           Where is another milu deer center ?

           What’s the purpose of the centers ?

           What do people plan to do with milu deer in future ?

Step 4. Listening and Practice ( T or F)

1.Milu deer is a common animal in China and the number of it is growing rapidly.

2.It disappeared around 1660 because many foreigners came to steal them from our country.

3.There are about 200 milu deer in Nanhaizi Milu Park.

4.Milu deer grow well in Britain because they have a great park where they can enjoy cool wet weather which they like.

5.There are about 20 milu deer research centers in China .

6.People are going to set the milu deer free and then they live in the wild again.

7.Milu deer has been kept and well taken care of in large nature parks since 1985.

8.A lot of research work is being done on the life of milu deer.

9.More and more milu deer research centers are planned to be set up.

10.More milu deer are being moved to a new large nature park in Hubei Province.

Step 5. Language study and practice 

Let Ss find out the sentences with the passive voice of the continuous tense.

Go over some new words and important phrases to help Ss smooth away any possible difficulties.

Deal with Ex 3.

Step 6. Retelling the story

Make a comparison in the order of time.

Write some key words on the Bb to let Ss retell the story.

Step 7. Workbook Ex. 2.

Conclusion:

Today we’ve learned sth. about the milu deer. From the text, we’ve learned sth. about milu deer in the past, at present and in the future. All of us should love wild animals and be their good friends, OK ?

Homework :

1.Retell the three paras with the help of key phrases of time .

2.Finish off Wb Ex 4.

Bb planning

….be common long ago

In the past    ….be killed during the Ming and Qing periods

             … be taken to England(Duke of Bedford)

             …be kept the largest number(England)

At present     ….be sent to places(England)

              …return to Chinathree natural parks(Nanhaizi, Dafeng, shishou)

              …will have enough animals to set free

In the future    …let them live in the wild again
