第一步：看题

全卷放音前看题时间共计约2分钟，每个听力段落结束后有15至20秒的答题时间。

看题干：请迅速勾划大写词汇、数据、时间、比较关系，最高级，引用处等词汇，另外，名词和动词为一般性重点。

看选项：除上述特征词汇外，选项中最需要注意的位置通常为谓宾结构处或标语结构处。利用此方式能够大大节省看题时间，杜绝“看”“听”无法同步的问题。

例：2010-Q10/Q19

Why was Mary sure that the briefcase was hers in the end? （名词）

A. The papers inside had the company's name.（谓宾）

B. The briefcase was found in the restaurant. （表语）

C. The restaurant manager telephoned James. （谓宾）

D. The cheque book inside bore her name.   （谓宾）

Which of the following details about Family Health International is INCORRECT? (大写)

A. It is a nonprofit organization.          （表语）

B. It provides public health services.       （谓宾）

第二步：听力和做题

1、  关注首句或开头处，此处容易涉及第一题。

例：2010-Q1

The following details have been checked during the conversation EXCEPT

A. number of travelers.

B. number of tour days.

C. flight details.

D. room services.

原文第一段：

OK, so let's go through the travel details again. Two adults,（A）eight days(B) in Britain from April 26th to May 3rd, flying from Beijing to London and back with Air China(C), and you are in a double room.

所有选项都被读到。Double room 指双人间，而D的含义是客房服务。

2、  注意在细节类选项旁进行标记。

例：2010-Q11

We learn from the passage that about two-thirds of the courses are taught through

A. the School of Design and Visual Arts.

B. the School of Social Work.

C. the School of Business.        

D. the Arts and Sciences program.

The university has Schools for Law, Medicine and Social Work（B）. It also has a Business School（C）, a School of Design and Visual Arts (A) and a School of Engineering and Applied Science. But more than 60% of courses are taught through the Arts and Sciences program.

做本题时，删除选项的顺序是B-C-A，最后判断D是对的。其中，题干的two-thirds 被换成了60%。

3、  注意转折、因果、最高级、问答结构和同义替换的考点。这是听力理解的一般性考点。

4、  一定注意提前看带有“CORRECT”“INCORRECT”的题目，因为类似题目的选项很长，很容易做错。

5、  顺序做题，不要回头。

第三步：注意检查

某些题目由于各种缘故无法听出时，注意利用空余时间进行阅读式排查，使用尝试和逻辑做题。

例：2010-Q16

According to the study, the "new man" likes to

A. spend more time at work.        （工作狂）

B. spend more time with children.

C. spend time drinking after work.   （酗酒男）

D. spend time on his computer.      （电脑控）

只需要看一会，你就知道，若是“new man”的定义，新好男人，当然是B，做一个好爸爸。

技巧 用词重合度较高的两个选项之一为正确答案。

与其它选项内容不同（关联不大或者毫无关联）的选项往往不是答案

How To Compliment People

Did you know that compliments are so good that they can heal your harmed relationship? Hi, I'm Hazely Lopez from Hazely Academy of Refinements and Modeling and I'm here to talk to you about how to compliment people.

You first, of course, want to think about sincerity. If you're going to give a compliment, make it sincere. Don't fake it, don't fake admiration.

Also, be specific. For example, "Your dinner was really good". You can actually go more specific than that, "This steak was really well cooked. Thank you," or, "smells really good." Actually, after that, you want to follow that with an action. If you said it was good, eat it, don't just leave it there. This is going to show that you were faking it.

Also, it's good to say it in front of people. If you're meeting somebody, you may want to add "and this was my really great cook that I was talking to you about." Adding those compliments make people respected and feel really good about themselves.

lso, avoid confusing compliments with envy. It will be really awkward if somebody feels that you're telling it just because you feel envy about it. So just avoid saying that you'd like to have the same of those. I'm Hazely Lopez from Hazely Academy of Refinements and Modeling and just a little tip, always remember to compliment your spouse once a day.
