Hi Everyone,
I'm in Whistler, in Canada right now. I had a lot of fun here already.First I'll tell you about the story when I went water rafting:
Ok, as soon as me, my dad, and my brother arrived at the water rafting check in, they had us go down to the fiting room
where the gave us boots, wet suits, helmets, paddles, and life jackets to use on the rafting trip. All the girls went
into the girls dressing room, I was wearing my swimsuit so I just put on the wet suit (which was already wet from the earlier
rafting trip, ) and the boots. I was the youngest one there, all the other girls were adults so they didn't have my size
in wetsuit so it was way to big for me. It was cool because they were from all different places, I heard some people speaking
english, chinese, spanish, japanese, hindi, and scotish. It's fun in Whistler because its like an international town, SO i make
friends with people from around the world. We all brought the life jackets, paddles, and helmets out to the busses that were
waiting to take us to green river where we would go rafting. On the bus there was a guide who talked about the river, he told
us that the river was made from all the melting glaciers. The bus ride was short so we got there shortly. We put on the life
jackets and helmets and the guides made sure they were on right. We were split into groups and jumped into the raft.On the boat
with us was a family from Scotland and our raft guide was from Australia.He explained the commands, rules, and then we started down
the river. The water was clear blue and the trees were tall and lush green. Then we sped down the rapids going over rocks and hitting
waves. It was so fun, and we got to see and great view of the glaciers. On the way we had splash fights with the other rafts, once one
of the boats got stuck on a rock, so we had to bump it off. And once we hit a huge wave and I almost fell out of the raft. I was looking
for more excitement so maybe next time I will go skydiving instead.
