Yesterday I watched the Michael Jackson Memorial. It took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, where just less
 than a week before his death he was rehearsing for his debut tour "This is it".Many stars performed at thethan than
Memorial, such as Mariah Carrie, Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder, and Michael jacksons big brother. There were speeches
from celebrities such as Kobe Bryant, Queen Latifa, Smokey Robinson, and Brooke Shields. Also for the first time,
Michael Jackson's Children made a public appearance. The older two kids are around my age, so I felt really bad
that they had to loose their father so early. When Paris, Michael Jackson's 11 year old daughter said, "Ever since
I was born, daddy was the best father anyone could ever imagine. I just want to say that I love him" and then burst
into tears, I started crying too. It was so heartbreaking to hear her say that. I guess you dont know what you have
untill it is gone. Another thing that was really sad was when one of Michael's brothers said "I guess they'll finally
leave him alone." I hope that everyone can remember him by his amazing singing, dancing, performances, and charity,
not the scandals that tore him apart. Not only was he a Musical Genius but a loving father who would do anything
