北国风光,千里冰封,万里雪飘。

望长城内外,惟余莽莽;

大河上下顿失滔滔。

山舞银蛇，原驰蜡象，欲与天公试比高。

须晴日,看红装素裹，分外妖娆?

江山如此多娇，引无数英雄竞折腰。

惜秦皇汉武，略输文采;

唐宗宋祖，稍逊风骚。

一代天骄,成吉思汗，只识弯弓射大雕。

俱往矣，数风流人物，还看今朝?

[题解]

1935年11月起,红军粉碎了国民党对陕北革命根据地的三次围剿;1936年2月，渡河东征进入山西，准备开赴河北抗日前线。该词作于此时。

[注释]

(1)莽莽：茫茫。

(2)山舞银蛇：披着白雪的群山宛如白色长蛇在舞动。

(3)原驰蜡象：丘陵起伏象白色群象在奔跑。原，秦晋高原。

(4)须：等。

(5)红装素裹：红日白雪互映之景。

(6)折腰：弯腰行礼。
