Unit 5 Sports Day
Part A
一、教材分析:
本课为闽教版小学英语第六册第5单元《Sports Day》 Part A的教学。本单元将围绕校园“Sports Day”为主题,展开系列教学活动,本课中首先要让学生学会用英语表达一些运动项目,其次通过创设情境,在情境中让学生能更加熟练地运用一般将来时的句型Who will -------?”来询问他人的计划、打算。同时通过这一课的学习,告诉学生生命在于运动,增强学生的健身意识,激发孩子们对体育运动的热爱之情,培养他们热爱运动,热爱生活的优良品质。本课中采取交际互动式的教学模式,增加学生的互动机会,放手让学生自己去阅读寻找,与同伴多交流。
二、学情分析
本课的教学对象是五年级的学生,他们正处于求知欲旺盛,活泼好动的年龄,喜欢动手动脑的学习方式,同时他们的英语知识有了两年的积累,英语听说读写方面的能力有了一定的基础,能够围绕话题展开简单的语言交际活动。他们也掌握了一些体育运动的词汇,如:play football,play basketball,run,jump等,能正确的听音做动作或看动作说短语。但是他们还欠缺着科学的学习方法和自主学习的能力,因此针对他们的认识特点和水平,在本课的教学中通过看、想,听、说,用等结合起来的方式练习,教给他们学习的策略与方法,培养他们学习的主动性和持久性。
三、教学目标:
(一)语言知识目标
1、能认读和正确书写词汇:meter,fast,try,Sports Day,long jump,high jump等。
2、能听懂会说句型:We are going to have a Sports Day.
Who will…?I will.
3、学唱歌曲:High Jump and Long Jump。
(二)语言技能目标
1、能用I will…..表达自己打算在运动会上参加哪些运动项目。
2、.能用所学语言询问他人所擅长的运动项目并制订运动会报名表。
3、通过交流与合作,培养学生的互助精神与合作学习能力。
(三)情感目标
1、 学生能够在看、听、想、 说、写中发展多元智能,养成认真倾听、大胆开口说英语的好习惯;
2、运用谚语:Life depends on sports.告诉学生生命在于运动,增强学生的健身意识。
四、教学重点:
1、能认读和正确书写词汇:meter,fast,try,Sports Day,long jump,high jump等。
2、能听懂会说句型:We are going to have a Sports Day.

五、 教学难点:
1、能用句子I wil…表达自己打算在运动会上参加哪些运动项目。
2、.在实际情境中,能得体合理地使用句型:Who will____?I will.来进行报名表的问答。
六、教具准备
1、单词卡片:
新词Sports Day,meter,fast,try,do high jump,do long jump等卡片。
2、跑步、跳高、跳远等运动项目的图片和学校运动会的图片。
3、课文三幅图片和Peter,Julia,Yang Ming的头像。
4、教学光盘,课件。
七、教学过程
Pre-task activities:
Step 1 Warming up

4、You all do well.This lesson we have four groups in our classroom.You are Running Group,Jumping Group,swimming Group,skating Group.And we’re going to have a race .If you do well,you’ll get one point. And let’s see who will be the winner.Are you clear? (分组,呈现评价表)
(设计意图:通过进行师生之间的问候,愉快、轻松而融洽。通过唱读富有节奏和韵律的童谣作为热身活动,能集中孩子们的注意力,激发学习兴趣,将他们带入一个轻松和谐的英语学习氛围中。帮助孩子们在愉快中复习所学的动词,为本课的语言学习和输出做好铺垫。)

Step 3 Presentation
1、present the task:
You know Every two years we will have a Sports Day ,look ,This year our school will have a Sports Day on June 5th.we will make a name table,I hope after learning this lesson,you can finish it .
lead in the text :YangMing’s school is going to have a Sports Day too .let’s go and have a look .
(课堂开始向学生提出学习任务,帮助学生对本节课具体的学习内容和要采用的学习方式了然于胸,突出教学指向性。)
2、listen and underline :Now ,listen and think:What will they do on Sports Day?”Underline the sports names in your book.
Teacher present the table on the blackboard:
Afer listening ,ask some students to write down the sports names on the blackbord.
3、check and learn new words:run 100 meters,do high jump,do long jump
(1)、Nice ,you are clever.They are going to run 100meters ,do high jump,do long jump on Sports Day .Do you know 100meters?
(2)、learn word “meter”,Teacher use rulers to practice:“This is one meter,This is two meters…one hundred meters.
lead students to say out :run 200 meters,run 600 meters,run 400 meters
(3)、use pictures and activities to learn :high jump, long jump.
4、Learn sentence:Who will…? I will.
(1)、Now we know they will do so many sports on Sports Day . so Let’s watch the video again and guess “Who will run 100 meters? Who will do long jump? Who will do high jump?Teacher write down “who will”on the table.

(6)Game:quick _respond.
Use the handlight to shine all the students ,and ask Who will……?The students should say :I will .and the the handlight shine over someone ,the one should stand up and say quickly :I will .The one who respond quickly should get a point.
