　　体坛网讯 2008年11月4日，美国选出了历史上第一位黑人总统奥巴马。这个历史性事件也导致了很多美国人，特别是黑人社区里的美国人，开始重新审视围绕在他们周围的“种族”问题。而在以前，这些问题要么是一种禁忌，要么就是只能在自己的种族内部小范围的公正的讨论一下。所以，随着这涉及到了卷入不同种族关系的黑人运动员，现在我们就请你谈谈对“种族”问题的看法。

　　我决定写这个内容，主要是因为最近我和我的堂兄之间的一次对话。基于我以前是一个足球运动员的背景，他想探知我在黑人男运动员约会白人女性问题上的看法。他只是不能理解，那些在黑人社区中成长、进入黑人学校、在黑人教堂礼拜的黑人运动员，然后怎能就此离开了，而把那些黑人女性留在了那里。对我而言，他所给出的挑战就是，为那些运动员的现实做出辩护。

　　我根本不会在意去提供一个借口，因为我相信，一个人决定约会其他种族人的决定没什么不体面的。我要说的是一个黑人运动员怎样的生存环境能导致他（他们）做出某一个选择。在他（她）因为体育的力量而引人关注、名声大噪之前，他们中的很多人都百无一用。

　　例如，当他们因为喜欢奖学金而进入白人大学的时候，大部分的黑人运动员都与黑人区疏远了。这是他们朝主流社会迈入的第一步。对于众多的黑人运动员，这将是他们第一次作为一个少数种族存在的学生身份进入一个班级。随着他们在体育运动中展现的水平越来越高，他（她）将在未来的一些年内，都会生活在成千上百个非黑人的世界里。随着他们从父母、家庭和社区中独立，他（她）的世界观在这段时间也会越来越清晰。同样是在这段时间，随着他们幸运的与众多不同的群体的社会交往，他们在未来最终将会受到这些的影响。
