A new survey found that more than half of mothers and a third of fathers acknowledge that they share the ins and outs of raising their children online. 

最新调查发现,超过半数母亲和三分之一的父亲承认他们把养育孩子的点滴小事都分享在网络上。

Sharents are mums and dads who compulsively post pictures and blog, tweet etc about their offspring. 

“晒娃父母”就是指忍不住在博客、推特等社交网络上发布自家孩子照片或近况的父母。

Some parents have already started thinking more carefully about the online presence they have given their children. Others feel that the advantages of sharenting far outweigh any negatives.

一些父母已经开始更认真地考虑,他们把孩子的信息发到网上这件事了。还有些父母觉得晒娃的好处远多于坏处。

   An 18-year-old girl Anna Meier from Austria is taking her parents to court for posting over 500 photos of her on Facebook since 2009without her permission

    Anna’s lawyer claims they have a good chance of winning the case in courtif it can be  proven that the images have violated her rights to a personal lifeButbased on similar cases and according to Austrian privacy lawsif the parents losethey may be forced to pay their daughter a fine of € 3,000 to €10000

    But Anna's parentshoweversee nothing wrong with posting baby photos of her“I consider it my right to publish these photos”her father said.“We have posted no more photos of our daughter since she stopped allowing us to photograph herWe also have baby photos of her that can only be seen by a limited group of 700 Facebook friends
