There is a general optimism in January that springs from greater grace. We tackle our challenges with more peace and confidence. The atmosphere is lighter. Life continues to be full and busy but there is more of a sweetness and a flow. The yearning for closeness begins to grow as love calls to love. We will continue to address what is not working and surprisingly we will find ways to build a better foundation as these chronic problems are transformed.
The arrogance of entitlement is turned into greater appreciation and gratitude. There is a greater valuing of the feminine so that we move toward balance, flow and receiving. This brings greater integrity, more wholeness and a joint effort to remedy personal and collective problems. What occurs in January is deepened in February and sets the tone for the whole of 2011 and success all year round.
With so many challenges on the earth today, it is at times more difficult to discern when a new fineness emerges as it will this month. There is even a tinge of goldenness that emerges in January that is a harbinger what is coming in this century.
The undercurrent of the first week in January is the temptation to dispossess oneself. Look for this as the main dynamic if there are problems. In the second week the underlying dynamic for things that go wrong is the fear of the feminine. In the third week it is our need for importancethat hold us back. In the fourth week what can stop us back especially is health is our fear of change. Finally in the last days of the month, there is a level of receiving that improves our health and shows that we learned the lessons of January.
January is your seed month. What you plant in January will be reflected all through the year diligence and devotion are rewarded. But passive aggression and hidden, or not so hidden, bad attitude is repaid in kind also. It is a powerful time. Use it well.
May January be graceful and grace-filled for you!
