While everyone's been fanatic about the New York's Fashion week these days, I started to take a fast glimpse through the F/W 2008 runway show to catch some inspirations for my Fall outfit. Fashion is perpetually ahead of times and when I really want to purchase my fall wardrobe, all the trend spotters exclaimed about the incoming spring trends. I believe a lot of women, just like myself, are hovering between the incoming spring/summer trends and "what to wear at this exact moment". This is a bit overwhelming. I suppose it perfectly fits for those who live with fashion, such as celebrities, movie stars and fashion editors because it is perfectly adequate for them to wear summer apparel in a chilly yet not freezing fall afternoon.  Fashion has no boundary and yet it came to me that fashion also has no seasons. Fortunately, most fashion websites keep record of all the previous runway shows so that whenever we feel for some inspirations, we have numerous places to check out.
     For me, I collect all the outfits picture I fancy, label them as 2007 s/s, 2008 f/w, etc. So when I feel losing track with all the s/s, f/w, pre-spring, couture line, resort etc,etc.... all I need to do is flip through the pictures I gathered. Sometimes I download reviews I feel useful, which turned to be truly helpful afterwards. Those reviews simply define certain season's trend with few words. I do all of this not for constructing the exact same look as the models on the Runway, but to set some boundaries for myself so I won't be clad with some obviously outdated apparel. To be honest, simply doing this is already exhausting. Whoever can go through all of these runway shows and still being able to memorize each season's trend and MUST HAVE pieces definitely goes under the fashion industry, and they deserve my homage.
