对蒸汽机车有一种不舍的情怀，短短的五年从业时间，对我却是一种财富，前些天还梦到。当年是极其讨厌它的，每天繁重的体力劳动，高度紧张的神经，没完没了的学习考试。我们对工作的奢求仅仅是“白天上班，夜里睡觉”，休息时间比金钱更珍贵。
    想得最多的是，快点淘汰蒸汽机车吧，换内燃。上班一杯茶，下班一泡尿。逃离体力劳动，哪怕再辛苦也比蒸汽好。柳州机务段刚开始转换内燃我就离开了，2年后蒸汽机车在柳州消失了。没来得及留下它们的照片，现在要找非常的困难了。
    在网上收集了一些照片，留给自己。顺便了解更多型号的机车，增长点知识。

大同机车于1988年12月21日制造成的7207号机车，是最后一台前进型机车，也是中国制造的最后一台大功率主型货运机车。前进型7207号机车目前还在山西大同一家发电厂服役。

日本台灣總督府鐵道時代的形式是500型，CK250型的光復前形式是C55型，光復以后改稱CK250型。1935年由川崎與三菱公司共生產了9輛，日本國鐵C55型為同一機型。它是日本鐵路同一時期導入的，當時最新式蒸汽機車。
