The line chart reveals the number of fish and meat consumption in a European country during 25-year span from 1979 to 2004. It is clear that fish consumption was always standing the least position all the time.

In 1979, the consumption of fish, lamb, beef and chicken stood at approximately 60 grams, 150 grams, 140 grams and 220 grams per person per week, respectively.

According to the figure, fish consumption went up gradually to under 50 grams in 2004. At the same time, in spite of some fluctuation, the consumption of beef and lamb experienced a dramatic decrease to some 110 grams and 60 grams per person per week, respectively. On the other hand, chicken showed an increasing trend, reaching to（这个to删除） almost 250 grams by 2004.

In addition, the figure also unfolds the popularity among（of） these consumptions from another perspective. Beef was the most popular consumption（删除） in 1979 while chicken took the place of beef and became the most popular consumption（删除） by 2004.
