美国蒙大拿州境内的冰川国家公园。在过去100年中，150个冰川已经大幅度退缩，其中一些已完全消失。到2010年，冰川境内只剩下37个冰川，其中只有25个被认为是“活跃的”，面积超过0.10公里。如果现有的变暖趋势继续下去，那么到2020年，所有剩余的冰川都可能完全融化。
