FelixBonfis镜头下的中东

1860年是法国人费利克斯·邦菲斯（Felix Bonfils，1831-1885）生活中的一个转折点。他在黎巴嫩服兵役。在那里，他开始从事摄影工作，对中东的了解迷恋，决定了他的命运。1867年Bonfis与他的妻子和两个儿子移居黎巴嫩。他们定居在贝鲁特开了一家摄影工作室“Bonfisov楼»。Felix Bonfisa工作室很快成为中东地区最富有且盈利能力和最强的摄影工作室。

9000张照片纪录他与家人一起游历奥斯曼帝国的历程，拍摄了当地许多历史古迹，居民，城市和自然景观，团体。专门针对一些城市或地区，邦菲斯发行了很多相册。Bonfis House由此在全球闻名，其照片和专辑在当地富人和旅行者中非常流行。在成功的鼓舞下，Bonfis决定在法国南部开设另一个工作室“邦菲斯之家”，一个家族企业形成。

1885年，他们继续家族生意。该工作室历时30多年，直到1916年，第一次世界大战迫使Bonfi家族离开黎巴嫩。
