1943年5月13日，突尼斯半岛被包围的250,000人意大利和德国军队投降。这意味北非战役结束。
一线摄影师Hart Preston和Eliot Elisofon捕捉了突尼斯和利比亚的英美军队的胜利时刻。现在这些照片存储在“Life”杂志的档案中。
