耐力号

耐力号是参加皇家跨越南极考察队的两艘战舰之一。
1915年2月21日，“耐力”号到达最南端--76°58'S，然后开始向北漂移。
9月30日，“耐力”在整个考察期间遭受了严重的冰层压缩。10月24日，强烈的压力从冰的结果导致木结构破坏，撞成一个洞。为期三天，船队为了船的生命而战，在-27°C的时候把水抽出舱外。10月27日欧内斯特·亨利·沙克尔顿下令开始撤离冰面。
