英国著名的街头摄影师雪莉·贝克，生于1932年7月9日，卒于2014年9月21日。

曼彻斯特大学毕业的她，原在一家公司从事录音和宣传图片制作的工作。上世纪60年代到索尔福德大学摄影艺术专业求学，自此走上了摄影专业道路。她的街拍作品深受著名纪实摄影大师亨利·卡蒂埃-布列松和罗伯特·弗兰克的影响。她的作品涵盖了英国当时的市井阶层，尤其是对妇女和儿童的关注，作品幽默诙谐。
