Seizing the day

    My dreams are worthless，my plans are dust，my goals are impossible. All are of no value unless I can seize the day！

   My dear friends，What is your biggest target? To be admitted to a famous university? To gain great progress in certain fields?  To seek a chance to fall in love?  To get a good job? Or to spare some time to accompany your parents? For us senior high school students, I think we should be aware of our present situation and our main target, that is, to be admitted to a famous university and improve ourselves. Now that we can be admitted to senior high school, we should cherish the opportunity. Now that we have decided to continue our studying in the senior high school, we should seize the day, and spare no effort to achieve our target. Well,  now think it over, what have you done and how hard have you tried to fulfill your goal? Many of us give it up on the way when we are in pursuit of our wishes, just because we get into some trouble. Of course, there is little opportunity for us to taste the joy of success. However, We have to acknowledge that everyone once had a good plan, but abandoned it due to cowardice. As time goes by, we grow up day by day and become more rational and mature. And we get to know the meaning of time. Many of us experienced the fear, worry and confusion when facing the college entrance exam. But think carefully, time flies so fast while the exam is getting near. Is there much time for us to be anxious and terrified? So, I start learning to manage and cherish the time.

    From now on, I will seize the day. I will not avoid the tasks of today and charge them to tomorrow for I know that tomorrow never comes. Let me seize the day even though my actions may not bring happiness or success for it is better to act and fail than not to act and flounder. Happiness，in truth ，may not be the fruit plucked by my action yet without action all fruit will die on the vine.

For now is all I have.

Tomorrow is the day reserved for the labor of the lazy. I am not lazy.

Tomorrow is the day when the evil become good. I am not evil.

Tomorrow is the day when the weak become strong. I am not weak.

Tomorrow is the day when the failure will succeed. I am not a failure.

So，seize the day please. Success will not wait. If I delay she will become betrothed to another and lost to me forever. This is the time. This is the place. I am the man.
