suzanne 跟我说，要有三天时间才能把时差倒过来，呵呵，昨天早上6点醒的，今天更早，5点。我还以为睡得晚一点，能晚一点醒，好像没什么作用。今天的日程应该挺满的。上午稍微安排整理一下下午发言的内容，下午1点是第一次正式的碰头会，昨天的晚餐还算不上正式吧，让我一下子记住10几个老外的名字和面孔还不太容易，只有慢慢熟悉起来吧，其中有suzanne和另外elizabeth是去过BDA或是北京的，不过suzanne去的时候我恰好在London,所以我们并没有见过面。晚上有一个ICR的生日聚会（我后来参加AJ的聚会了）。

 

美丽的早晨,窗外各种小动物的不熟悉的叫声提醒你身在异乡。

 

我烧开了一点水，可以在美国喝到热茶，太好了。公寓的条件还不错，和roomate共享的客厅、饭厅、厨房，还有各自的卧室和洗手间。这样我怎样倒时差也不会影响到同屋了。我把昨天买来的樱桃都洗了洗，真甜啊！

 

下午我要准备谈三方面的内容：1、自我介绍；2、学习目标介绍；3、昨晚观看的演出体会等等吧。

 

大约11点半，我从驻地出发去吃午饭，到了餐厅，我的卡不好使用了，接待我的服务员仍然非常友好地请我进去了，等于免费吃了一顿自助餐。笑容还是挺管用的。不过，卡为什么不能使用了呢，我用它开门都是可以的呀，昨天第一次用也是没有问题的呀？明天好要去试试。

 

吃过中餐，我非常顺利到了Nelson Music Room，正式开始我的第一堂课程。我忍受着时差的煎熬，终于顺利完成任务。Suzzane人真好，她甚至允许我今天可以不用准备Presentation，不过，我还是硬着头皮做了，今天做不好情有可原嘛，刚来美国一天多一点，时差正在劲头上。明天就必须好了。呵呵，为了不让自己太紧张，我还是今天就做了吧。效果好像还不错，晚上大家相约去了一家墨西哥餐厅吃饭，依然是自己买单，我选的墨西哥卷不到10美元。

 

明天一早10点上课。准备9点半左右出发。

They have represented another possibility of the fairy tale for us, which has not begun and not finished either, certainly not have any answers.

 

 Inspired by Tim Burton’s short story, "The Melancholic Death of Oyster Boy," "Oyster" straddles the dividing line between a dreamscape and the world of the real, calling upon the imagination of a child and the mind of the mature. It is here in this magical universe created by choreographer Inbal Pinto and director Avshalom Pollak that an opened coat reveals an illuminated garden of tulips, where the whimsical and the grotesque tumble sault over each other, playing tag with our imaginations and sense of reality.

 

2、表现方式，让我想起来很多木偶题材的经典舞剧，尤其是彼得鲁什卡。

The performers, who combine a witty blend of modern, ballet, mime and acrobatic movement, alternate as dancers, marionettes and puppets. A clever use of strings alternately limits and liberates their movement: One airborne dancer gently floats above her partner’s head and tip toes along his arm. The cast of continuingly changing characters also includes a melancholic white clown, a ballerina muted by the turtleneck covering her mouth, and a gaggle of men in black tails.
    Comprised of a series of vignettes, "Oyster" is set to an eclectic selection of music including Pagliacci, Astor Piazzolla, Harry James and Yma Sumac compiled and arranged by Avshalom Pollak. The witty costumes were designed by Inbal Pinto. The set, comprised of strings of lights that create a smaller proscenium allowing for the entrance and exit of the performers, was co-designed by Pinto and Pollak.

The Ballets Russes (French for The Russian Ballets) was an itinerant ballet company which performed under the directorship of Sergei Diaghilev between 1909 and 1929. They performed in many countries.

Fokine (1880-1942) caused the rebirth of classical dramatic dance (though his works often included Expressionist elements). Many regard his greatest work to be Petrushka; others consider it to be Les Sylphides. Fokine also choreographed The Dying Swan, Prince Igor, and Scheherazade. Fokine graduated from the Imperial Ballet School in 1898, and eventually became First Soloist at the Mariinsky Theater.

Petrushka (Russian: Петрушка) is a stock character of Russian folk puppetry (rayok) known at least since 17th century. Petrushkas were used as marionettes, as well as hand puppets. Traditionally he was a kind of a jester distinguished by red dress, red kolpak (a kind of pointy hat), and often a long nose.

The name is actually a hypocoristic for "Pyotr" (Пётр), which is Peter in Russian. However, the character has little or nothing in common with such stock characters as Petruccio or Pierrot. Petrushka is rather a Russian Punch or Pulcinella in character.
