今天有一笔镍矿石的投保业务，其中涉及到船舶保赔协会方面的知识，拿来跟大家分享下：

镍矿石运输的风险同其他诸如煤炭、铁矿石等类似商品的风险大致相当，不过由于去年有两条镍矿石的船在中国海域沉没，所以其沉船风险就凸显出来了，那么是什么造成沉船风险呢，主要是因为镍矿的含水率过高，在运输过程中水分大量析出，形成自由液面，造成船舶稳定性下降，在外力作用下容易造成倾覆。这在我之前一篇关于不倒翁原理的博客中分析过，不再详谈。http://13701151374.blog.163.com/blog/static/12483845720107102576536/

所以控制其含水率是镍矿运输风险控制的重要工作，有些国家如印尼、印度等，当地的发货人，往往是自己随便测一个数值，甚至直接根据经验申报含水率，即使找检验人也是不具有资质的检验人，这样无形之中就把风险推给了船公司或保险公司，所以保险公司只能要求船公司或承运人很负责任的去把关，而一般小的船公司或船东也不情愿去花这笔费用找专业的公司去检测，那么保险公司唯一能做的就是通过限定保赔协会的方式，来限定承运船舶，因为这13家保赔险协会已经要求所有在该协会投保的船舶，船东在运输印尼或印度的镍矿前，必须自己花钱雇用符合资质（协会指定名录）的检验人单独进行货物检验，如果含水量高于适运水份极限，就不能承运，否则保赔险不予赔偿。这样保险公司就实现了控制风险的目的。
