坐落在浙江省建德市新安江畔的下涯渔村，位于千岛湖与富春江的交接地带。

一年里的大部分时候，由于千岛湖水库下层水温保持在7、8摄氏度左右，当水库向下流放水时，在黄昏与清晨都会因为江面水温与空气温差产生的浓雾沿江而下。尤以夏天为盛。

新安江在流经下崖村时有一份别样的厚爱——赋予晨曦一身薄纱，赠予黄昏一袭雾装，把沿江地带远远近近的田园、村庄、山峦、树林......装扮得时隐时现，宛若人间仙境，一切都变得那样地朦朦胧胧......

下崖村总有一股令人难以抵挡的魅力诱惑过客的眼睛，令人流连其中，不舍得离开。
