Unnecessary Sophistry
( 19. Autonomy In
Formulating
TCM's Standards .3)
So, many
double-blind experiments are
ineffective and
redundant in fact, but
such ineffective and
redundant
double-blind experiments
are of huge
significance
to the gang of
pseudo
schloars
who always want to ruin
TCM.
Those
guys can get benefit from the
following two aspects at
least:
One is
to fraudulently obtain
research
funding
Another is to get
opportunity to
slander TCM
once again.
However, for us
patients or potential patients,
this kind of
ineffective and redundant
double-blind
experiments are just something
poor , like
watching a circus monkey performing
arithmetic
again !
In fact, the
academic standards for TCM
should be based
on facts and guided by
therapeutic
effects.
We should
establish our own standards
for TCM and
integrate these standards
into the
international standard system,
rather than
using existing international
standards to
deny a large number of
facts for a
long time, to slander TCM
and obstruct
the development of
medical science !
Because the
development of medical
science should
be based solely on facts
and guided
solely by efficacy, rather
than just
repeating experiments around
known western
medicine theories and
existing
western medicine techniques
(such as
double-blind experiments)!
Only in this
way can our medical
development not
be hindered by
existing
immature theories and
technologies
(such as double-blind
experiments).
Regarding
international standards,
we should take
our responsibility,
not just
kneel down !
Moreover, we
have so many valuable
resources
regarding the effective
treatment of
diseases with TCM that
forming our own
TCM's standards is
not a problem
at all !
Similarly,
Zongzi is our favorite food.
Zongzi also
contains rich cultural
implications.
But should we
eat Zongzi according to
international
standards ?
If Zongzi must
have an international
standard, we
should make such an
international
standard by ourselves ,
and we don't
need to copy the western
food technology
standard to paste
it into our
standard !
Oh my God, this
will violate western
centrism
!
Thus, TCM is
nothing more than it .
In short,
medical science is about
analyzing and
solving problems,
rather than
summarizing technical
specifications
for double-blind
experiments.
If our medical
science is truly based
on facts,
guided by therapeutic effects,
patient-centered, and dedicated
to
treating
diseases, then double-blind
experiments
will appear so slight,
ordinary and
insignificant.
Therefore, we
do not have to kneel down
to such poor
thing called "double-blind
experiments"
Otherwise, it
will mislead the development
of medical
science and deviate from the
core essence of
medical science, which is
"Based on
facts, guided by therapeutic
effects,
patient-centered, and duty
oriented".
As a result,
our medical science will become
a monster
like "Science without
humanities
and
knowledge without conscience".
Simply put, it
will turn our medical science
into a hodgepodge of
various medical
technologies and business models!
So, whether as
patients or potential patients,
whether as
doctors of TCM or western
medicine, as
long as having a little rationality,
we should clearly understand that
:
We
ourselves have
the autonomy to
formulate TCM
standards !
