Sayings By Chencius Sino
( 4. Effectiveness Is Precisely Scientificity
.1.3 )
4.5.
Looking down upon other
professions
That group of
pseudo scholars believe
that
only their own profession is
sacred and inviolable.
They always
believe that:
Western medicine is a sacred and
inviolable
science .
Anyone who
points out the limitations of
western
medicine is
accused by them of not believing in
science.
But they
ignored that science is developing
and
western
medicine is also developing
Additionally, they always believe
that:
Only
western medicine is medical
science,
while
other medicine (including TCM)
is
not
scientific.
But they
ignored that almost all human
populations are striving
to develop their
own medical
scinece, and there is a lot
of knowledge
that is very effective and
worth
referencing and learning from.
And of them,
our TCM is the best !
4.6.
Obliterating the scientific nature
of
TCM by
using the cultural nature of it
Our TCM has
grown up with the subsistence
and development
of our nation, so that our
TCM has two
important inborn qualities :
The
scientific nature and the cultural nature
So, while we
emphasize the scientific nature of
TCM, we should
also cherish the cultural nature
of TCM
.
And especially,
we should take strict precautions
against denying
the scientific nature of TCM by
using the
cultural nature of TCM .
Similarly, if
there is someone who ask me to tread
on my own right
foot by my own left foot, what I
should do is
just to ask he to get out as far as
possible!
From this, it
can be seen that when we talk about
TCM, once we
mention the cultural attributes of
it, we must
also emphasize the scientific
attributes
of
TCM.
Never just talk
about the cultural attributes of
TCM without
mentioning its scientific attributes !
Because many
guys intentionally only acknowledge
the cultural
attributes of TCM, but they never
acknowledge the
scientific attributes of it.
We must not
fall for their traps !
4.7
Neglecting the particularity of
life
phenomena
The human body
is not a machine.
A machine has
this characteristic:
For a batch of machines of the
same model,
if a part can be used on one of these
machines,
then any one of these machines can apply
this
part.
But the human
body may not necessarily be
like
this.
For example,
for the same condition, if
penicillin
is used, it may
be life-saving for some patients
and deadly for
others.
Of course,
western medicine can use excuses
such as drug
allergies to conceal these issues,
without paying
attention to the particularity
of life
phenomena.
In fact, this
is irresponsible !
Alternatively,
can TCM also use medication
allergies to
disguise its ineffective treatment ?
5. So what
should we do to approach scientific
issues
rationally ?
5.1 First,
anyone who wants to study science
should a
scientific spirit of seeking truth
from
facts, and to
respect the facts, otherwise he
has no
qualification to discuss any science
!
If any scholar
faces a large number of facts
but cannot
explain them, it is enough to prove
that his
knowledge still has some limitations.
At this point,
he can stay in his closed knowledge
system and
appreciate himself, but no matter
what, he has no
right to deny the constantly
emerging large
number of facts, nor to use his
cognitive
limitations as the boundary of
contemporary
disciplines, and not allow others
to take a step
beyond the limit !
5.2. Anyone who
wants to study science should
have the
awareness of inheritance and
development, as
well as the awareness of
inclusiveness
and accumulation.
Any practice of
being complacent, discriminating
against history
and unreasonably rejecting other
academic
opinions is unacceptable.
Because the
development of any discipline has
its own
inheritance, development and also draws
knowledge from
other disciplines and different
schools of
thought .
5.3 To apply
scientific knowledge in a goodwill,
rational and
correct manner
Scientific
knowledge is ultimately just a tool,
so
only by
applying it with goodwill, rationality
and
correctness can it truly have positive
effects
on
society.
And that
group of pseudo scholars
often
aren't
like this way when they harm TCM.
So, I often
jokingly say:
The group
of pseudo scholars
who
always
want to
ruin TCM all have the
following
DNA
characteristics:
Seems very
knowledgeable;
Maybe a bit
cultural,
But Actually, no
upbringing!
5.4. Be of
self-knowledge
Everyone should
understand the limitations of
the subject he
learnt, the limitations of his
growth, the
limitations of his knowledge, the
limitations of
his understanding and control
of
knowledge.
Don't
take it granted that you can
understand
everything in the universe only due
to
understanding something about molecules
!
While
don't take it granted that you can
pilot
the Earth
just because you know how to fly
a
plane
!
6. The
effectiveness of TCM in treating
diseases
objectively
exists, which has been supported by
a large number
of facts, and such actual cases
are constantly
being reported on television.
If doctors of
western medicine can explain or
understand some
of these facts,that would be
great.
But if they
cannot explain or understand these
facts, it is
irrelevant, even this does not mean
that they have
any right to smear our TCM and
say that TCM is
unscientific.
Similarly, if a
person cannot drive, it is only his
own problem,
but it does not prove that he has
the right
to say that all cars are useless
and
then demands the scrapping of all cars
!
If some guy
insists on disregarding a large
amount of facts
and continuing to
unreasonably
besiege TCM, I can tell them
a summer health
secret:
To stay wherever it's cool
!
