The Fourth Law Of Medical Science

A netizen gave his comment after he had read my

blogs :

"Our TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) is born

with the attribute of being close to people , and

TCM serves the people , so the people affirm

and love it ."

I replied : What you said is right !

Unfortunately, for a long time, many pseudo scholars

have framed our TCM wantonly and unjustifiably , so

that many persons are always skeptical of our TCM .

Even in front of a large number of facts that our TCM

treats many diseases effectively , those persons still

don't believe our TCM , mainly because they can't

explain or understand these facts .

This kind of logic seems to be reasonable , but in fact，

it is very misleading , because it completely violates

the human survival rule .

As we know , the human survival rule has always

been :

Effectiveness first ;

Rationality second ;

and Better if understanding .

But if it cannot be understood for the time being ,

the "Effectiveness first , Rationality second" shall

be taken as the criterion .

For example , we human beings have a long history of

eating rice , which has been more than 7000 years .

However , at the time when people began to eat rice ,

they knew nothing about the molecular structure of

rice , the digestion process in the human body , or its nutritional value .

But at that time , people only discovered and confirmed

the effectiveness and rationality of eating rice .

And it is precisely because of their insistence on eating

rice that the later human survival and development

came into being !

So, it should be clearly recognized that some pseudo

scholars are especially skillful at playing with

professional terms to teast , misleading patients , even

at last delaying patients' treatment !

But all of these are really not desirable !

Now , let's make up a joke for those pseudo scholars .

A fool boy ate a mouthful of meat and then dared

not eat the meat any more .

His mother asked him why he stopped eating meat .

The fool boy said seriously once again :

"Mom, I dare not eat meat any more , because

I don't know whether the meat I just ate will

promote the growth of hemorrhoids or the

growth of brain ".

Then , the poor mother was very helpless , so that she

advised her son to eat more vegetables .

therefore , the fool boy took a mouthful of vegetarian

food , but then , he still dared not eat it any more .

At this time , his mother asked him why he didn't eat

a little more ?

The fool boy said with great seriously again :

"Mom , I don't dare to eat vegetarian food any

more , because I don't know if the vegetarian

food I just ate will help cancer cells grow ? "

His mother was about to collapse !

In fact , many pseudo scholars want to make all

patients become such fools !

So , we can see that those pseudo scholars are

essentially a gang of ruffians with some professional

knowledge .

Therefore , in order to stop this kind of ruffian making troubles with our TCM , we can elaborate the fourth

law of medical science according to the human

survival rule .

The Fourth Law of Medical Science

When we evaluate a treatment , we should chech

the effectiveness first , then check rationality ,

and understanding is last but better .

But if it cannot be understood for the time being ,

the"Effectiveness first , Rationality second " shall

be taken as the criterion .
