The Fifth Law  Of Medical Science

A netizen gave his comment after he had read my
blogs:
"The East and the West can learn from each other,
and complacency is not conducive to development. "

I replied: What you said is right !

In fact, any knowledge must be tested by facts,
whether the knowledge comes from the East or
the West.

So, we have got the first law of medical science:

We should discuss science according to facts, and
discuss  medical science according to curative
effects.

For example:
Acupuncture treatment is very effective , which has
been widely recognized internationally.

But the very ridiculous thing is that some pseudo
scholars still raise provocative questions unkindly ,
such as:

How big are the acupuncture points?
How deep are the acupuncture points?
What is around the acupuncture point?
How to get the acupoints for amputees?

and so on.

In fact ,   as long as  acupuncture treatment    is  really
effective , these trivial and meaningless  questions
can be put aside for the time being , so as not to delay
the patient's disease treatment.

Because the very bounden duty of any doctor is to
cure diseases to save the patients.

So, no doctor has right to refuse any effective
treatment method , or to delay disease treatment !

And this is just like dealing with a fire:

        First put out a fire,
and then check the cause of the  fire.

No one can refuse to put out a fire just because the
cause of the fire has not been found out.

And yet, no one can refuse to deal with another fire
just because the cause of this fire has not been
found out.

Now, let's talk about acupuncture once more :

I know an actual case:

A few years ago, a patient suffered from severe herpes
zoster, and an acupuncturist had cured this severe
herpes zoster with acupuncture alone.

Since then, this case has always puzzled me .

But, do we have any reason to embarrass the
acupuncturist just because we don't understand
his treatments ?

After all, such questions only confirm the limitations
of our own knowledge, so we have no reason to use
the limitations of our own knowledge to embarrass
others!

Otherwise, it is shameless!

And here is another case:

A colleague in our company had a terrible toothache
last month.

He took a lot of medicine, but it didn't work.

But at last,  a acupuncturist cured him.

Actually, in the face of patients' pain and helplessness ,
we can easily find some figures of pseudo scholars :

those pseudo scholars are very skillful at finding
professional reasons for their own incompetence
and laziness, and very skillful at talking , not doing.

In order to prevent doctors from being unreasonably
interfered in their treatments, we should elaborate
the fifth law of medical science.

the Fifth Law of Medical Science.

The very bounden duty of doctor is to cure the
disease to save the patients.
So, any doctor has no right to refuse any effective
treatment method, or to delay disease treatment !
It is better if we can understand the treatment
method, or even optimize it.
Otherwise, it's no need to force to understand or
optimize the treatment method at the time being.

Attachment: Q & A

Some pseudo scholars believe that they have found the fatal weakness of acupuncture and moxibustion.

And for it,  they put forward the problems with vicious
intentions,  such as:

the problem of acupuncture point selection for
amputees .

But in fact, is this a real problem ?

Q: How to get the acupoints for amputees?

A: The acupuncture points of TCM can be found not
only in the limbs, but also in the face, ears , etc .
So,    we can select    the corresponding  or similar
acupuncture points to achieve the best effect.
