Standard Is An Issue ------ 2

In fact, Western medicine has its own criteria, while our

TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) has its own criteria, 

and the only common criteria for them are efficacy.  

Otherwise, there will be endless mutual entanglement 

and disputations , which  always leave many patients at

a loss!

Now, let's take an analogy:

Western medicine is something like an apple, which can 

be measured in a bamboo basket , because every apple 

can be seen and counted.

And meanwhile our TCM is something like water, 

which can be measured by gourd, otherwise  it is 

difficult to mesaure, and has indefinite shape in 

the way like water.

And more importantly, our TCM is more like water 

so that TCM can moisten things silently!

But if someone believes that since the bamboo basket 

can be used to measure apples, it should also be used 

to measure water, the reason is to unify standard.

So , it is conceivable that the measurement result of 

water is so pitiful !

In fact, this is what our TCM has been suffering such

improper experience for more than a hundred years. 

Now, it is time to reflect on it!

As long as it comes to our TCM , these psedo scholars 

will talk about how foreign countries do , how existing 

International Standards do , and what Mr. Lu Xun had

said.

But in fact, standing in front of a large number of facts 

that our TCM can effectively treat diseases , all what 

they said are really far from convincing ! 

So, from now on , we might as well review what is 

medical science ?

What is medicine ? 

According to " Chencius ShuoWen Jiezi " , 

we can see:

Medical Science is the science 

                              to  cure diseases.

Therefore, according to this definition, any method that 

can effectively cure diseases certainly belongs to the

treasure house of human's medical knowledge . 

And as for this, there is no time difference, no school

difference , no regional difference , no indiviedual

difference and no racial difference.

As long as we adhere to this principle, all the deceptions

and tricks  mixed in   medical discussions  will certainly 

self-disintegrate, and all those cheats will be ashamed

of themselves and get out away.

Therefore, we should have recognized long before that 

the only criterion for both TCM and western medicine

is efficacy, never  western medicine theory.

Moreover, if we take curative effect as the only criterion 

to measure any medical theory , we can easily stop some

immature medical theories from the a-long-time 

hindering the development of medical science.
