6) Obliterating The Scientific Nature of TCM By 

Citing The Cultural  Nature Of TCM

Our  TCM has grown up with  the subsistence and

development of our Chinese nation，so that our TCM

has two important inborn qualities:

    The scientific nature  and the cultural nature.

So, while we emphasize the scientific nature of TCM，

we should also  cherish the cultural nature of TCM.

Especially, we should take strict precautions against

denying the scientific nature of TCM by citing the

cultural  nature of TCM.

e.g.  If there is someone who ask me to tread on my 

own  right foot by my own left foot， what I should 

do is just to ask he to get  out as far as possible！

 

After all，how should we think of  the questions about

scientificalness ?

 

First of all，we should have the scientific spirit of

seeking truth from facts，without this kind of spirit,

no one has qualification for discussion of science !

As the effectiveness of treating diseases by TCM is

objective  existence, it  is better if western medicine

could explain or understand this effectiveness,   but 

It doesn't matter if western medicine couldn't.

However,  at this time，this kind of ignorance or

bemusement from western medicine doesn't mean 

that western medicine has right  to tarnish our TCM,  

or to air the lie that TCM is unscientific.

If there is someone who always wants to tangle with 

the scientific nature of TCM，I will tell him a secret

recipe for regimen in summer :

               Where is the cool where to stay!

For there is a simple truth:  the knowledge  of  any

scholar has its own limitation，and no scholar has 

right to regard his own limitation of knowledge as 

a restricted zone of the subject，to stop others from

researching

 

Secondly， we should have desires to inherit and

develop，to  tolerance and embrace.   

It is inadvisable to stand still and refuse to make

progress、to discriminate against forerunners、to

exclude different academic  unconditionally.

Because any subject is developed with heriting、

developing,  taking in useful knowledge from other

branches、 disciplines、or schools.

 

Next，to applicate scientific knowledge  with good

intention

After all,   any scientific knowledge is nothing but a 

kind of tool,  it will happen to  contribute to our social

only when it's used kindly and reasoningly

E.g. When you are dining,  suddenly one man talks

volubly about the activity mechanism of colibacillus, 

will you  still want to continue such discuss at that 

time with such a man?

Just such a man with much special knowlegde  always wants to ruin or  maim our TCM!

So  I often mock up such men and say:
Many such ruiners have some common DNA natures, such as:
           Seem to have lot knowledge
           Perhaps a little culture
           But no virture at all !

 

Last， Be Self-knowledge    
We should  realize the limitations of the subjects we

have learnt、the limitations of our grow-ups、the

limitations of our knowlegde and  the limitations of

understanding and controlling on knowledge.

No think you could realize the universe only on the

knowledge of molecule, No think you could drive the

earth only because you can drive a plane.

So, those guys who always want to ruin or  maim our

TCM  disclose their own personality defects by playing

with something called "SCINCE".
