Standard Is An Issue --- 1

 

 

 

I have written more than 500 articles for our TCM 

(Traditional Chinese Medicine ), which are sufficient to

prove that the treatments of diseases by our TCM are

scientific and effective .

 

And now ,  our TV stations are also constantly introducing 

a large number of examples of effective treatments of

diseases by our TCM.

 

However, why do some guys always firmly deny that our

TCM can effectively treat diseases? 

And they are always so eloquent when they quibble!

 

After more than ten years of observation and analysis , I

found that there are three major issues that need to be

solved urgently.

 

These issues include standard issues, platform issues and vision issues.

I will talk about the standard issues in this article.

Our TCM has always been being an effective way for us 

to keep fit and cure diseases.

 

Although there are some problems in our TCM indeed , 

TCM can solve all of the problems by itself , and TCM can

also be further improved by learning knowledge from

other disciplines.

 

Unfortunately, more than a hundred years ago , when we

were poor and weak , western medicine also took

advantage of the situation and became the only standard 

of our medicine.

 

Objectively speaking, western medicine has indeed

achieved a great leap forward for our medical progress,

but it is not reasonable to say that our TCM is useless.

 

This is something like :

We learned to drive, but there is no reason to despise

walkers, and there is no need to disable  the legs of

ourselves !

 

Therefore, we should adhere to the first law of medical

science:

        We should discuss science according to facts , and

meanwhile we should discuss medical science according 

to curative effects. 

Each of us knows that Li Bai is a poet.

 

However, if someone determines that:

 

A poet who cannot speak English is not a qualified poet.

 

Then, under such the standard, even Li Bai's status as a 

poet is not guaranteed.

 

Actually , our TCM has suffered from such the standard, 

a rather baffling standard, for more than a hundred years:

 

TCM is not medical science because Western medicine

cannot explain it.

 

The root cause of this kind of paradox is the dislocation 

of standards, and then the dislocation of value judgment

results from such the dislocation of standards.
