Pseudo Scholar Means Nothing

(3. Behavior Characteristics)

In this article, I will talk about the behavior characteristics

of pseudo scholars.

As what I have said in my last article  the characteristics

of pseudo scholars  are not ignorant    and pretending to

have lot knowledge. In fact , the characteristics of pseudo

scholars are extremely paranoid ,  ignoring the facts , and

also ignore the consequences in order to meet their own

interests or hobbies.

Therefore , pseudo scholars often have the following behavior characteristics:

1.   Extremely paranoid

Pseudo scholars take it for granted that only what they

prefer or understand is right while any other things  are

all wrong.

Even if   there are  a large number of  facts   to support

others' views , and even if  there are a large number of

facts   to question   the pseudo scholars' views ,   these

pseudo scholars are still stubborn. For this reason, they

are even willing  be shameless  for a long time to deny

these  facts .

For example , they have successfully performed  these

shameless farces  for a long time  in the face of a large

number of facts  that   our TCM   can   effectively treat

diseases.

2.   Proficient in  profession , but sometimes , they  use  it

    maliciously

Perhaps they  have made  great achievements  in their

own specialties  indeed.

But unfortunately , once they find some unsatisfactory

facts or views , they are particularly good at refusing to

admit  any  of such facts or views , by evil-playing with

professional terms , and  even more , in such  juggling

method , they have  also spelt out  a large number of

plausible word games.

In fact,  all these word games  are  scripts  if in politely

speaking  but  deceptions if objectively , and from the

perspective of logical reasoning, all these word games

belong to sophistry!

3.   Make trouble out of nothing

When  they try their hardest  to spell out   scripts    or

deceptions , they will make sophistry with no scholarly

demeanor ! For this reason , they often make troubles

out of nothing.

For example, when we read literary works, we should

pay attention to their literary value ,    while  we read

scientific and technological works ,  we  should    pay

attention to their professional value.

However, pseudo scholars never think so . Once they do

not like a work, they often make troubles on trivial issues

for this work, hoping to mislead readers in such a way so

that the readers have no time to pay any attention to the

value of the work itself , or even induce more  readers to

hate the work.

There are some facts for it:

3.1 They often say that this work is plagiarized and infringing.

3.2 They often say that this work was written by others ,

such as the author's father and so on.

3.3 They often say    how much    the author earns from

selling the work , to imply  that the author   is cheating

money.

3.4 They often say  the author's some diploma or some certificate are forged or false.

However, there is an exception: If the wife of a pseudo

scholar is involved , she should be ignored.

In a word, no matter how good a work is, they can also

splash dirty water to the work in order to make all readers

sick, and it's better to keep all readers  away from the work.

But in fact, there are certainly some people who must pay

attention to these problems exaggerated by the pseudo

scholars, so not everyone need pay too much attention to

 such problems.

The pseudo scholars make such troubles for the work in

order to increase the legitimacy of their tricks ,    and to

mislead every reader , so that no one has no enough

time to consider the value of the work itself.

But as we know , these little tricks are just a way to

deceive .

4.   Nitpick

Let's talk about Huangdi Nei Jing.

Huangdi Nei Jingis a good ancient book of Chinese

medicine , although there are inaccurate statements in

it indeed. For example, Huangdi Nei Jing said that

the human body has 365 bones.

Some guys caught this mistake and cut  capers excitedly,

and even more ,  they want to take   this mistake    as a

reason to completely deny our Huangdi Nei Jing.

It's really too picky!

Actually,“Huangdi Nei Jingwas written more than 2000

years ago, so it is inevitable that some statistical data are

biased, and we should not be too strict with the ancients.

Moreover, the value ofHuangdi Nei Jingis to explain

the principles of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), not

 specific statistical data.

Therefore, there is no reason to completely deny the main

principles of our TCM inHuangdi Nei Jingjust because

a statistic is biased

So, it is malicious that they do such things in this way .

Because in their minds, they never admit our own original

things , and as long as they have any opportunity , they

will vent heartily on our TCM  , and they have never been

rational nor kind to our TCM.

Or please think about it:

Are these people's own things 100% accurate ?!

Perhaps we can make up a joke to pull these guys' legs:

The two fools boast that they are experts in the study of

 "The Dream of Red Mansion".

One said:

I found that the author of "The Dream of Red Mansion" was not Cao Xueqin after many years of research , because Cao Xueqin never knew how many words in this novel.

Another fool thought it was reasonable, and then asked:

Since you have studied "The Dream of Red Mansion" for

many years, let me ask you:

How many times does the word "Red" appear in this novel?

So the two fools found a new "research topic", and they

can "research" together for several years !

In fact , this kind of word game is  a kind of gossip, and

essentially is ignorant, unreasonable, and coax!

We don't need to be confused by it , otherwise, we may

be conqued by it.

5. Borrowing power for evil

When it comes to our TCM , they talk about how foreign countries do , how existing International Standards do , and what Lu Xun had said.

In fact, standing in front of a large number of facts that

our TCM can effectively treat diseases , all what they says

are really unconvincing!

We might as well review  what is medicine?

What is medicine?

According to " Chencius ShuoWen Jiezi " , we can see:

Medicine is the science to  cure diseases.

Therefore, according to this definition, any method that can effectively cure diseases certainly belongs to the treasure house of human's medical knowledge .

And as for this ,   there is no time difference ,     no school

difference , no regional difference , no individual difference,

and no racial difference.

As long as we adhere to this principle , all the deceptions

and scripts    mixed in    medical discussions  will certainly

self-disintegrate, and all those who borrow power for evil

will be ashamed of themselves and get out away.

In short, the behavioral characteristics of pseudo scholars

are:

Extreme paranoia, malicious use of knowledge, making

trouble out of nothing, nitpicking, and borrow power for

 evil.

And its rhetoric essentially belongs to rhetoric, deception

or sophistry.
