Pandemic
The World Health Organization (WHO) believes that there is a closing window of opportunity to prepare for a global influenza pandemic.
The WHO is concerned that one particular virus, H5N1 that normally infects birds, could ignite an especially severe influenza pandemic in the human population because it has a documented ability to pass directly from birds to humans and has been impressively lethal.
However, the timing of such a pandemic and the extent of disruption to daily lives and business activities are highly uncertain.
we hope for the best however have planned for the worst.
