That western remote Wenchuan

Local quake shocked all Chinese

Disappeared the dead for ever

But survivors have pains in mind

Tearful not touch you any more

Sobbed opposite the portrait

After all blown away the haze

Loiter around, more and yet more move ahead

New living quarters emerge beside ruins

And read loudly and clearly in rebuilt classroom

Bright sunshine on the road to the future

Console the dead with life of happiness and prosperity
