A decent and convenient place to stay in Prague
We stayed in Park Inn this April when we had a trip to Central Europe. We drove all the way from Budapest, because it is located not too far from major attractions and it provides parking, breakfast and Wi-Fi, we booked it in advance. When we arrived, there is a trick since the side street where the main entrance and underground parking entrance are on is one way only, the right route should be driving around the building via Vysehradska, turn right to Boticska and turn right again at the road blockage.
The hotel is close to the river, we walked along the river to the north, on the way you will see the Dancing House, the National Theatre, Cafe Slavia, etc. Then the Charles Bridge is just on the left side, it would just take about 20-30 minutes if we didn't stop in the cafe and take photos on the way. Across the Bridge is the Castle Hill and many stuff around it. If you turn right, in a few minutes, there's the old town and the plaza (old town square). On our second day, we walked Spalena/Karlovo/Vysehradska streets back to the hotel, and found a nice restaurant U Trajcu.
The hotel has its own restaurant as well - RBG Bar & Grill, it serves the breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast has everything you want; the dinner is good too, we tried once. Just on the right side out of the hotel, there is a convenient store - TESCO Express, you can buy snacks and beer from there. Also a Chinese restaurant nearby, we didn't try it during our stay.
In the hotel, besides the interesting newspaper press style decoration in the public area, everything else is standard, nothing to worry about. One little concern is the train and streetcar route are just next to the hotel, there could be some noise on one side of the building. The hotel changed our room as we brought this up when we checked in.
