We went to watch and feed geese on July 20. It was not far from our house in Unionville. Behind our house, there is a wood. We walked through the wood, across the stream and reached the Main Street of Unionville. It is natural in the wood, never polluted by humans. You can see rabbits, squirrels, birds or some other animals running or flying from tree to tree, unscarred of people. Some people cycling along the small path, enjoying the fresh air and the sounds of stream and birds.

The wood is like a time channel. When we got out of the wood, we found ourselves in a different world. Unionville is an old village built in the seventy nineties. The houses along the Main Street remain a traditional European Style. Post office, fire station, churches and planing mill still stand as old story tellers. When it comes to dusk, the street becomes lively, men drinking beer, housekeepers walking dogs, kids playing skateboarding, and mothers pushing buggies. It is a kind of comfortable and harmonious life.

At the end of Main Street lies the lake. It is a long lake. Many Canada geese swim on the lake. Some toddle to the shore and wood, unafraid of people walking along the lake. They eat, swim, walk and quack as if to show that they are the owner of the land. They sure are. The land is owned by all living things here. Walking across the bridge, you can see reeds growing twice taller than you, blocking your eyesight. It is a land for them that anyone cannot disturb.
I found nature here.
