本单元课文A主题对于本科生来说,不太能引起他们的共鸣,课文结构脉络与内容匹配不是很清晰,长句比较多,学生理解起来会有一点困难,基于这一点,我打算用课文B作为上课内容,课文A作为课外泛读。又因为是第一次课,学生事先不知道我的计划,不可能预习,以下设计的上课提纲基于学生未预习课文(这叫裸上吗,哈哈)。计划课时40m*3。
Objectives
1. Talk about a good name(good reputation) and the value of a good name
2. Learn how to earn and keep a good name.
3. Enlarge vocabulary by finding “old/new friends”.
4. Write a composition on a good name
I. Lead-in
1. Of the celebrities you know in news media, who has earned a good name?
2. What do they have in common? (honest, truthful, faithful to work, open to suggestions and ideas…)
3. Involve Ss in talking about Li Tianyi’s story (李天一).

Encourage the Ss to add as many details as they can to the story. First work in pairs to retell the story. Then one or two will be asked to do the job before the class.

3) What should I do to maintain my family’s good name.
